Refund Policy

Straight rules on what's refundable, what isn't, and how to reach Mark if something feels off. We don't hide behind fine print.

The Short Version

Setup fees and monthly fees are non-refundable once work has begun, because we commit calendar time, ad budget, and human review the moment your engagement starts. Engagements run on fixed 90 / 150 / 365-day terms — no early cancellation refunds. The $14 deep audit is refundable within 24 hours if we haven't delivered it. If you ever feel we dropped the ball, talk to Mark first — we'd rather make it right than fight a chargeback.

01Scope of This Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all payments made to ActionScale, including the $14 deep audit, setup fees, recurring monthly service fees, and pre-funded ad spend. It works alongside our Terms of Service and is incorporated into your Statement of Work.

02Refund Eligibility — At a Glance

Monthly service fees (current month) No — services are billed in advance and are non-refundable once the month begins.
Pre-funded ad spend (unused) Yes — any unused ad budget you've pre-funded with us is refunded within 14 days of cancellation, minus any platform-side reconciliation.
Engagement fees during the fixed-term commitment No — 90 / 150 / 365-day terms are non-refundable in part or whole if you choose to leave early.

03$14 Deep Audit Refunds

The $14 deep audit is a low-cost product designed to give you serious value before you ever commit to an engagement.

04Setup Fees

Setup fees pay for one-time work we do at the start of every engagement: tracking installation, account audits, campaign architecture, landing page production, creative writing, and platform configuration. This work is delivered in the first 7–14 days.

What "work begins" means: the first time we open your accounts, request access from you, kick off audit research, or start building anything specific to your business.

05Monthly Service Fees

Monthly fees are billed in advance for the upcoming month. They cover ongoing campaign management, optimization, reporting, strategy, and direct access to Mark.

06Ad Spend

Ad spend is the budget paid to Google, Meta, or other ad platforms — separate from our service fees.

07Early Termination

Our engagements are sold as 90, 150, or 365-day fixed terms because real marketing results compound — they need time. By signing the SOW you agreed to the full term.

Force majeure exception: if your business is materially affected by an event outside reasonable control (natural disaster, sustained platform suspension not caused by you, serious illness), reach out. We're human and we're flexible when it matters.

08How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

Mark's commitment: if I genuinely dropped the ball on something I committed to in writing, I'd rather refund you than argue about it. The policy keeps me honest. Tell me what happened.

09Processing Times

10Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. Most disputes can be resolved in a single conversation.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting us is a breach of our Terms of Service. If a chargeback is filed and lost, you agree to reimburse us for the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees we incur. Repeat or fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate termination of services and account closure.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page tells you when. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page or sent by email to active clients. Existing engagements will continue under the policy that was in place when you signed your SOW unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
