The Short Version
Setup fees and monthly fees are non-refundable once work has begun, because we commit calendar time, ad budget, and human review the moment your engagement starts. Engagements run on fixed 90 / 150 / 365-day terms — no early cancellation refunds. The $14 deep audit is refundable within 24 hours if we haven't delivered it. If you ever feel we dropped the ball, talk to Mark first — we'd rather make it right than fight a chargeback.

01Scope of This Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all payments made to ActionScale, including the $14 deep audit, setup fees, recurring monthly service fees, and pre-funded ad spend. It works alongside our Terms of Service and is incorporated into your Statement of Work.

03$14 Deep Audit Refunds
The $14 deep audit is a low-cost product designed to give you serious value before you ever commit to an engagement.
- Full refund window: 24 hours from time of purchase, if the report has not yet been delivered to your email.
- After delivery: the audit is non-refundable. The work — including AI analysis, competitor scraping, screenshot capture, and ranked fix list — was already produced.
- Technical issue? If the report failed to deliver, didn't arrive, or contained errors that materially undermine its usefulness, email us at sdrmarksavin@gmail.com. We'll fix it or refund it. Your choice.
04Setup Fees
Setup fees pay for one-time work we do at the start of every engagement: tracking installation, account audits, campaign architecture, landing page production, creative writing, and platform configuration. This work is delivered in the first 7–14 days.
- Before work begins (no kickoff): if you cancel in writing before we begin setup, you receive a full refund minus the non-recoverable payment-processor fee (typically ~3%).
- After work begins: setup fees are non-refundable. We've already invested time and external costs (creative, software, platform fees) on your behalf.
05Monthly Service Fees
Monthly fees are billed in advance for the upcoming month. They cover ongoing campaign management, optimization, reporting, strategy, and direct access to Mark.
- Monthly fees are non-refundable once the billing cycle has started.
- If you wish to discontinue services, you must do so before the next billing cycle and complete the remainder of any fixed term commitment.
- We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.
06Ad Spend
Ad spend is the budget paid to Google, Meta, or other ad platforms — separate from our service fees.
- If you fund ad budgets directly on the platforms, refunds are governed by the platform's own policies — not by us.
- If you pre-fund ad budgets with ActionScale, any unused balance at the time of cancellation will be returned within 14 days, minus any reconciliation fees the platforms charge.
- Ad spend already executed (paid to the platform and run as live ads) is never refundable.
07Early Termination
Our engagements are sold as 90, 150, or 365-day fixed terms because real marketing results compound — they need time. By signing the SOW you agreed to the full term.
- If you choose to end the engagement before the term is up, fees due for the remainder of the term are still owed and non-refundable, unless your SOW explicitly says otherwise.
- If we end the engagement for our own reasons (not your breach), we will refund you on a pro-rata basis for any prepaid time we don't deliver.
- If we materially fail to deliver the scope in your SOW, contact us first under Section 08. We'll work to make it right or, where appropriate, refund the affected portion.
08How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email sdrmarksavin@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request".
- Include: your name, the business name on the invoice, the date and amount of the payment, and a short explanation of why you're requesting the refund.
- If you'd like, text Mark first at 619-953-8055 — sometimes a five-minute call resolves it faster than email.
09Processing Times
- We respond to refund requests within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days via the original payment method.
- Stripe and your card issuer may take an additional 5–10 business days to post the refund to your statement.
10Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first. Most disputes can be resolved in a single conversation.
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us is a breach of our Terms of Service. If a chargeback is filed and lost, you agree to reimburse us for the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees we incur. Repeat or fraudulent chargebacks may result in immediate termination of services and account closure.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page tells you when. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page or sent by email to active clients. Existing engagements will continue under the policy that was in place when you signed your SOW unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
